For Over Two Decades, We’ve Worked For You.
Established in 1991 by Mark & Christine Oliver, Fenland Stoneworks has operated in the Huntingdonshire and Cambridgeshire areas for over two decades, serving the local community with our skills as Stonemasons. When this two-man team began their journey to become the pre-eminent Masons in the area, they poured their heart and souls into producing elegant, lasting Monuments and Memorials to suit their clients’ requests.
All that hard-work has paid off – fast-forward 25 years, and now, Fenland Stoneworks has grown considerably; the size of the team has increased, business is booming and things have never been better. However, despite all of this change, the core ethics that Mark & Christine instilled into the business remain intact. Fenland Stoneworks serves its clients, crafting to their wishes as best we possibly can.
Whether the Task is Big or Small.
With every year that passes, we meet new people, see new faces and of course, receive different requests. In fact, nearly every request we receive is unique in some way, different to any that have come before it.
We’ve crafted small, personal tributes for loved ones that convey the feelings of the passed, and we’ve also carried out work on enormous obelisks that will honour the memory of the departed for many years to come. We’ve completed tasks involving architectural masonry, or restoration projects. Our work has been wider in scope and more varied than we could have possibly imagined back when it all began.
With each and every task we’ve had the privilege of carrying out, we’ve shown the same care and respect it deserves. Each detail is carefully planned, masterfully crafted and then closely scruitinised to ensure that our work is to the standard you expect, every single time.
Applying Our Skills in Other Areas.
For every skill that we’ve honed and new technique that we’ve acquired, we’ve thought long and hard about how we can make use of it, about how we can use it to assist our customers with their needs.
Over time, we began to get new requests, for things we had never done before – for fireplaces and worktops, restorative projects and entirely new stonework. It was these requests that led to our expansion into other areas of expertise.
Now we are fully equipped to craft, deliver and install kitchen worktops in a stone of your choosing, install/restore stone fireplaces and perform restorative and/or architectural work on buildings wherever required.
Whenever you need stonework, you need the Masons at Fenland Stoneworks.
